Markland Hanley was awarded, by client, Navistar, Inc., its 2008 Law Department Diversity Recognition Award, given annually to one law firm of less than 250 attorneys that has best fostered the ideal of a diverse law firm. We have begun to assemble the greatest group of diverse young trial lawyers and soon to be trial lawyers imaginable to assist us in representing our clients most effectively. Our logo is designed to reflect our commitment to a diverse workplace. It depicts the initials of our founding partners, a man and a woman. The logo is a holograph. It can be rotated and either initial can be placed first. This reflects our belief that men and women are equally essential in our law firm and in the existence of humankind. The logo similarly reflects in equal measures the diverse shades of humanity.
